Key Cutting

We can cut keys ranging from house keys to high tech chip keys for automobiles. Most standard house and lock keys, whether they be decorative or standard only take seconds to make. In addition, we have the capability to cut most high tech chip keys for various makes and models of cars. You do not need to go to your dealer to get that chip key cut, stop by Ace. Come in and let us save you time and money on those expensive chip keys. And, don’t forget that we also carry key fobs for GMC and Ford vehicles.

Glass Cutting

At Ace Hardware of Fort Collins, we can cut rectangular/square shape glass (4’x4′) and acrylic (4’x8′) by the sq. ft. Bring us the dimensions and let us fill that empty picture frame or fix your busted window.

Chain and Tubing Cutting

We cut vinyl, polyethylene, surgical, fuel line, spa and pool, and high-pressure air hose tubing. We also cut various grades and working loads of chain. Whether you need a foot to complete a project or an entire roll we are here to help complete the project.

Pipe Cutting

We sell and cut by the foot PVC, ABS, pex, copper, poly sprinkler, and drip pipe. We always have longer 10 ft pieces for discounted prices, and your first cut is always free of charge.

Paint: Color Matching and Custom Blending

Bring in a sample of the color you’re looking and we’ll locate or create a matching paint color in a matter of seconds. Ace’s paint color matching service is designed to help you find the right color and shade for any project. You can also bring a rug, piece of fabric — even a favorite piece accessory — to Ace Hardware of Fort Collins and one of our helpful associates will custom blend a paint shade to match!

Window/Patio Door Re-Screening 

We re-screen windows and patio doors up to 6’x6′ for a minimal cost to you. We can replace your screen with a highly durable Pet Screen to resist claw rips or we carry black and grey fiberglass and aluminum screen to match your present screen color. Come into Ace to obtain your replacement rollers and latches for your screen doors. We’re more than happy to install them at the store. Please give us 10 days (usually less) to turn around your screen or door repairs.

Blade Sharpening

Have a dull knife or mower blade? We can help! We sharpen all non-serrated knives, straight and mulching mower blades, axes, and even pruners. Come on in and let us sharpen up your tools to make tasks easier for you. Your trees, grass and other plants will do better if they have a clean, sharp cut.

Lock Services

We have the ability to rekey Schlage and Kwikset locks. If you need your locks changed to a different key or just want all of your locks to work off of one key blank, bring in your locks and within one day we can have them finished for you. Ace Hardware of Fort Collins also has the ability to take multiple new padlocks and have one working key for all. If the locks are bought at our store we do not charge for rekeying!

Special Orders

The Ace warehouse has over 40,000 items available. We cannot fit them all in our store but are happy to look it up and order them for you. If Ace doesn’t have your hardware needs, we will help you locate it elsewhere.
